7. Legal Questions and Attorney-Client Information

LawyerTheLawyer.com is not intended to serve as a mechanism for establishing an attorney-client relationship.

Sending information through LawyerTheLawyer.com, posting information in a community, submitting a comment, sending a direct message, or otherwise communicating through the platform does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship with the creator of Lawyer The Lawyer, L.A. LAW, LLC, LTL Group, LLC, or any affiliated attorney.

You should not submit confidential, privileged, time-sensitive, or case-specific information through LawyerTheLawyer.com for the purpose of seeking legal representation.

Persons seeking legal representation may be directed to the separate website or intake process of L.A. LAW, LLC. Any attorney-client relationship must be established separately and expressly.

8. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to third parties where reasonably necessary for legitimate website operations, including:

  • governmental authorities or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law.

We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, sale, financing, restructuring, transfer of assets, or similar transaction involving the website or the business associated with it.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, threats, violations of our Terms and Conditions, or unlawful conduct.

9. Advertising, Affiliate Links, and Sponsored Content

Lawyer The Lawyer may discuss products, restaurants, beverages, golf equipment, travel, entertainment, technology, professional products, or other goods and services.

Some content may contain sponsored relationships, complimentary products or experiences, affiliate links, referral arrangements, or other material connections.

Where required, those relationships will be disclosed in connection with the applicable content.

If an affiliate link is used, Lawyer The Lawyer may receive compensation or a commission if a user makes a purchase after using that link.

10. Third-Party Websites and Platforms

The website may link to third-party websites, social-media platforms, retailers, service providers, media platforms, or other online resources.

Lawyer The Lawyer does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Your interaction with a third-party website or service is governed by that third party’s policies and terms.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control.

No website, network, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or stored through the website.

12. Data Retention

We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, administer the website, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests.

Retention periods may vary depending upon the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.

13. Children and Minors

LawyerTheLawyer.com is intended primarily for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent under applicable law.

Certain educational content may be relevant to high-school or college-age individuals. Where required by applicable law, Lawyer The Lawyer will also recognize qualifying universal opt-out preference signals.

16. Do Not Sell or Share / Targeted Advertising Choices

If Lawyer The Lawyer engages in activities legally defined as the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or processing for targeted advertising, users entitled to statutory opt-out rights will be provided an appropriate method for exercising those rights.

Where required, recognized browser-based universal opt-out preference signals, including qualifying Global Privacy Control signals, will be processed in accordance with applicable law.
